Demián Bichir is a Lebanese Mexican actor.
He was born on August 1, 1963, in Mexico City, Mexico, and he is of Lebanese descent. Demián has acted in a variety of films, television shows, and stage plays, including roles in In the Time of Butterflies, Che, A Better Life, The Hateful Eight, Alien: Covenant, Weeds, and The Bridge.
Throughout his career, Demián received 11 awards out of 29 nominations, including an Oscar nomination, a Hollywood Film Award, an Ariel (Mexico) Award, an MTV Movie Award, and two Imagen Foundation Awards.
