Fatteh- Tita’s famous Chicken with Pita and Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients:
- Pita Bread
- White Rice
- Tahini
- 2 Lemons
- Greek Yogurt
- Garlic
- Chicken
- Parsely
- Onion
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
- Boil chicken and salt as you like.
- Cut the pita bread into small pieces and air fry until they are crispy. You can also press the pita bread in a panini press and break the bread apart when crispy.
- In a deep glass, cover the bottom with cooked white rice. Follow that with a layer of chicken and then a layer of crispy pita bread.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of tahini, 4-5 tablespoons of greek yogurt, 2 squeezed lemons, diced garlic, 1 onion, diced parsley, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
- Pour ¼ a cup of the chicken water over the rice in the deep glass.
- Pour the garlic mixture into the deep glass dish over the rice.
- Sprinkle a bit of parsley, diced onion, and chicken on top of the dish and serve out of the deep glass.
