Ferras Alqaisi

Ferras Alqaisi is a Palestinian American composer, singer, and actor.

He was born on July 2, 1982, in Los Angeles, California, and is of Palestinian descent. Ferras is well known for his single “Hollywood’s Not America” from his debut album Aliens & Rainbows, which was featured as the exit song during the semi-final round of American Idol season 7.

Before his rise to fame, Ferras studied at Berklee College of Music.

Throughout his career, Ferras has composed soundtracks for multiple award-winning movies and received the American Music Award for New Artist of the Year.
