George Joseph is a Lebanese American businessman.
Joseph was born on September 11, 1921, in Beckley, West Virginia and got his degree in Mathematics and Physics from Harvard University.
After getting his degree, Joseph started the beginning of his career as a systems analyst with the Occidental Life Insurance Company in Los Angeles. Joseph left his job at Occidental 1954 to start his own insurance agency. Joseph remains actively involved in the operations of Mercury Insurance as the chairman of the board.
Currently, Joseph continues his career as the founder of general-line insurance firm Mercury General Corporation of Los Angeles.
