Halima Aden is a Somali American fashion model.
She was born on September 19, 1997, in Kakuma, Kenya and has been credited as the first Hijabi supermodel. In addition, she has appeared in Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Allure, and more.
Halima is currently a student at St. Cloud State University.
Throughout her career, Halima was a semi-finalist in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant, one of BBC’s 100 Women, and became a UNICEF ambassador for her work surrounding childrens’ rights.
