Harra Esbao’o- Tita’s famous Pomegranate Pita Dish Recipe
Ingredients:
- Lentil
- Angel Hair Noodles
- Pomegranate Molasses
- Garlic
- Coriander
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Pita Bread
- Lemon
- Onion
- Cornflower
- Salt
Instructions:
- Cut the pita bread into small pieces and air fry until they are crispy. You can also press the pita bread in a panini press and break the bread apart when crispy.
- Boil lentils until crispy. Drain water when done.
- Mix lentils with angel hair noodles, pomegranate molasses, garlic cloves, olive oil, coriander, red pepper flakes, squeezed lemon juice and a tablespoon of sugar.
- Mix on high heat until it becomes a jelly-like consistency.
- Turn the stove off and pour ¼ a cup of olive oil.
- Cut 3 sliced red onions into strips, fry them and mix with corn flour.
- Serve the lentil mixture, crispy onions, and crispy pita chips on a deep glass dish and enjoy.
