Jim Harrick

Jim Harrick is a Lebanese American basketball coach.

He was born on July 25th, 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia, and is of Lebanese descent. Jim is currently the assistant coach at Cal State, and was formerly the head coach at UCLA, Pepperdine University, the University of Rhode Island, and the University of Georgia.

Before his rise to fame, Jim attended the University of Charleston.

During his career, Jim led UCLA on a 31-1 record to the school’s 11th national championship. He also received awards for National Coach of the Year and Pac-10 Coach of the Year in 1995, as well as the West Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year during his time at Pepperdine.
