Jimmy Naifeh

Jimmy Naifeh is a Lebanese American politician. 

He was born on June 16, 1939, in Tipton County, Tennessee, and is of Lebanese descent. Jimmy served as the speaker of the Tennessee House of Representatives, and he is the longest-serving person in that position, having held the title from 1991 to 2009.

Before his rise to fame, Jimmy received his bachelor degree from the University of Tennessee.    

Throughout his career, Jimmy received the NCSL Leadership Award, the Harry Burns and Good Guys Award from the Women’s Political Caucus, and the William M. Bulger Excellence in State Legislative Leadership Award.
