Joseph Marion (J.M.) Haggar

Joseph Marion (J.M.) Haggar was a Lebanese American businessman. 

He was born on December 20, 1892, in Jazzin, Lebanon and was the founder and CEO of Haggar Apparel Co., one of the United States’ largest manufacturers of affordable mens’ clothing. 

Joseph opened his clothing-manufacturing business in 1926 after immigrating to the United States, and garnered fame throughout his career for his ‘one-price policy’ for clothing sales, as well as the creation of ‘wash n’ wear’ pants in 1958.
