Kevin Hanna

Kevin Hanna is an Arab American director and writer.

He was born on January 6, 1978, in Mountain View, California, and is of Arab descent. Kevin has written and directed a variety of works, including his movie The Clockwork Girl, advertisements for many major companies, the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Californication music video, and video game projects for companies such as Electronic Arts and Mattel. 

Throughout his career, Kevin was the first American comic creator to direct the adaptation of his own graphic novel, was a founding member of the Xbox team, and he created his own animation studio, Frogchildren Studios. In addition, the graphic novelization for his work The Clockwork Girl received a Moonbeam Award, Graphic Novel of the Year at Book Expo America, and a Mom’s Choice Award: Golden Recipient.
