Mohamed A. El-Erian, is an Egyptian-American economist and businessman.
Mohamed was born on August 19, 1958, in New York City and is known for his role in politics such as him being former CEO of PIMCO.
The start of Mohamed’s career began after his studies at Oxbridge in which he took a position in Washington, D.C., at the International Monetary Fund. After a couple new positions in 2014, Mohamed has been a part of a panel of judges for the Financial Times/McKinsey Business Book of the Year.
As of July 1, 2019, El-Erian was appointed Part-Time Professor of Practice at The Wharton School and Senior Global Fellow at The Lauder Institute in which he still continues his duties.
