Najeeb Halaby

Najeeb Halaby was a Lebanese-Syrian American businessman, government official, celebrated aviator, and the father of Queen Noor of Jordan.

Halaby was born on March 3, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. During his education, Halaby was a part of the ALma mater of Stanford University and Yale Law School. In addition, Halaby made the first transcontinental jet flight during his service in the U.S. Navy as a test pilot.

From 1961 to 1965, Halaby served as the second Administrator in the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA). Later in his career, Halaby served as CEO during 1969 and 1972 and served as chairman after 1970, all for Pan American World Airways.
