Naseem Hamed

Naseem Hamed is a Yemeni British former professional boxer.

He was born on February 12th, 1974 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and is of Yemeni descent.

Naseem is known for his unconventional boxing tricks and extraordinary ring entrances, which included everything from Halloween masks to a palanquin. Due to his popularity and ability to entertain, he is regarded as one of the most influential and successful British fighters of all time, opening the door for fighters in lower weight classes to earn larger sums of prize money. Known for his explosive and hard-hitting boxing style, Naseem ended his boxing career with an astounding 84% knockout-to-win ration. 

Throughout his career, Naseem received the title of World Featherweight Champion and was able to defend his title 9 times over the course of his career. He had a record of 36 wins to 1 loss, 31 of which were by knockout.
