Nido Qubein

Nido Qubein is a Jordinian Lebanese American businessman and motivational speaker.

He was born on August 21, 1948, in Jordan, and he is of Lebanese and Jordinian descent. Nido is chairman of the Great Harvest Bread Company and president of High Point University. He also serves on the boards of several national organizations including BB&T and La-Z-Boy Corporation.

Before his rise to fame, Nido earned a Bachelor’s degree in human relations from High Point University and a Master’s degree in business education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Throughout his career, Nido received many distinctions such as the Golden Gavel Medal, induction into the International Speaker Hall of Fame, and as the founder of the NSA Foundation in Arizona. He has also been the recipient of many honors, including The Ellis Island Medal of Honor and The Horatio Alger Award for Distinguished Americans.
