Paul Anka

Paul Anka is an Arab Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor. 

He was born on July 30, 1941 in Ontario, Canada, and is of Lebanese descent. Paul is famous for his recording of several classic and well-known songs, such as “Put Your Head on My Shoulder”, “Diana”, and “Lovely Boy”. 

Before his rise to fame, Paul studied music theory with the St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral. 

Throughout his career, Paul has written and recorded music for a number of other world-famous artists, such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson. He is also the recipient of many awards, including the Juno Award for Composer of the Year in 1975, and an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1980.
