Ray LaHood

Ray LaHood is a Lebanese American politician.

He was born on December 6, 1945, in Peoria, Illinois, and is of Lebanese descent. Ray has served as the United States Secretary of Transportation under President Obama, as well as a member of the Illinois and US House of Representatives.

Before his rise to fame, Ray received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Bradley University.

Throughout his career, Ray received the 2016 Order of Lincoln Award, among others.
