Reem Kassis

Reem Kassis is a Palestinian American author.

She was born in 1987, in Jerusalem, and she is of Palestinian descent. Reem has written articles for a variety of sources, and she has published two cookbooks: The Palestinian Table and the Arabesque Table. 

Before her rise to fame, Reem received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, her MBA from The Wharton School, and her Master’s Degree in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics.

Throughout her career, Reem received the Eugenie Brazier award, the Guild of Food Writer’s First Book award, was shortlisted for an Andre Simon Food and Drink Book Award and an Edward Stanford Travel Writing Award, and she was nominated for a James Beard Foundation Award.
