Richard E. Rainwater

Richard E. Rainwater is a Lebanese American investor and philanthropist.

He was born on June 15, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas, and is of Lebanese descent. Richard worked in real estate, oil and entertainment, and owned part of the Texas Rangers baseball team.

Before his rise to fame, Richard received a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. He also attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Throughout his career, Richard received the Arbuckle Award and donated more than $380 million to various organizations.
