Youssef Nasr

Youssef Nasr was a Lebanese American businessman. 

He was born on September 21, 1954, in Beirut, Lebanon and served the president and CEO of HSBC Bank Canada, president and CEO of HSBC Inc. USA and HSBC Bank USA, president of HSBC Bank Brazil, and chairman and CEO of HSBC Middle East Limited.

Before his rise to fame, Youssef received his bachelor degree in Mathematics from Cambridge University. He also held a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.    

Throughout his career, Youssef received recognition for his work, serving as the chair of the board of directors for Metin Mitchell and Company and Hellenic Bank, Cyprus’ third largest lender. He was also a member of the board of directors of Brookfield Asset Management and has taught at the Executive MBA Program at the American University of Beirut.
